Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Yes, an appointment will ensure we allow enough time to spend with you during your visit. However, we do accept walk-ins if there are openings that day.

How soon can I get an appointment?

We should be able to schedule you an appointment within 24 hours.

How long will my appointment take?

An appointment takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

How soon after I think I might be pregnant can I come in for a test?

We can test for pregnancy as soon as the first day after your missed period.

Do I need to bring a urine specimen for my pregnancy test?

No, you will be asked to give a sample during your appointment.

What should I bring to my appointment?

You will need photo identification for our records. A driver’s license or a student ID works great. Something like a yearbook picture will work if you don’t have either. This information is kept confidential and only used for internal purposes.

If you want to bring the baby’s father, a friend, or a family member, you can do so. We’d be happy to talk with you and your partner about the free services we offer and the options you both have for your pregnancy.

Will you tell anyone that I came to Loving Choices?

No, we are committed to confidentiality for all our clients, and we can not give out test results to anyone else but the client. We do not even release your records to a doctor without your direct consent.

How much do you charge?

Our services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL, regardless of your income level.

Can I have an ultrasound?

If you receive a positive pregnancy test, we can discuss if an ultrasound is the next best step. You must be between 6 and 20 weeks pregnant, however. We only do ultrasounds for pregnancy confirmation and to see if the pregnancy is viable.

Loving Choices’ ultrasounds are not for prenatal care purposes nor to determine the baby’s gender.
